my life would be less different, but still fundamentally different.

i was introduced to Spyro through Spyro 2, so i'm still good.

my life would literally be different. i can't even describe how different my life would be.

i wouldn't have gotten into the series when i was little, who knows what i would have played? i wouldn't have had the nostalgia that i did when i got back into Spyro in 2007, after i found some YouTube videos.

i wouldn't have met the people on YouTube that i did, that was a HUGE point in my life, even if a good stretch of that time wasn't actually related to Spyro directly.

i wouldn't have found this forum, one of the only places in the world where i feel "comfortable" sharing my thoughts and talking to people.

i'm literally unable to imagine what my life would have been like if i never got into Spyro.

I knew i got that vibe when i was playing as "Agent 9" in Spyro 3

I guess Insomniac might not still be around. Disruptor, the game they made before Spyro, was supposed to have been a decent game, but not a lot of people knew it existed. We wouldn't have Ratchet and Clank, either; I think R&C took a lot of influence from the Spyro series.

I honestly don't think Spyro affected the market all that much, despite it being one of the more popular ps1 titles. In theory, if it didn't exist, it's likely that other popular games would've grossed more, or maybe a less popular game would've gotten such recognition instead. We might be Crocforum, basically.

Besides this forum never existing, what else do you think would have been possible? Do you think Sony will still have a place in video games today?
