my mom got me this game
hated it couldnt even get past the beach level with the light houses and mermaids
dad got me legend of spyro a couple years later
i liked it sortve i got pretty far
but i just didnt like those games because even as a kid i was like "this doesnt feel like the old ones"

I managed to complete it 100%, but it was years ago. I definitely remember the camera perspective being frustrating, too, and it was always hard to tell if you could make a glide or not.

I don't think the gems ever came back for me except for one green gem in the last home world.

I beat the game with cheats. The games camera perspective along with the fact there is no map really makes collecting gems a chore. I've not played it in a while, so correct me if I'm wrong, but if you die during a stage, do you need to recollect the gems you got before you died? I ask this because I believe this always happened to me...

It's harder to get 100% in this game than the home console ones. Have any of you guys done it?
