You would probably find this an interesting read. I had this instruction manual growing up. Reading it now makes me cringe at the punctuation and grammar mistakes, lol

It talks about "dragon families" in the "SAVE THE WORLD FOR DRAGONS" section.

hm, i don't have the Spyro 1 booklet (don't know why). i assume with the speculation going around, that wouldn't have any further information on his family either?

I had always seen that one purple dragon in Dark Hollow as Spyro's father.

Doesn't seem that surprising to me. Obviously Spyro would be related to the other dragons in some way, otherwise how would he come into existence in the first place?

it's logical canon! look at the "he's just a firestarter" section at the top (third paragraph), and the "Gnasty Gnorc" section at the bottom right.

it doesn't say which dragons are his family, but they were among the 80 that were turned to crystal in the game.
