there was a very short period of time where phone companies thought they were anarchists or something, they were trying to be all anti-establishment, claiming that other companies were ripping you off, man, you gotta sign up with that company! and a couple of them were using these graphics you'd associate with a punk band or something, thank goodness that stopped.
