I've decided that our new policy is going to be allow videos and links with reasonable amounts* of censored words in them without a warning or a spoiler tag. Although I still do want this forum to be appropriate for younger users, since many, if not most of you, are older, it been seeming somewhat patronizing to me lately to have the "spoiler for language" policy. Users who may be offended by such things should simply treat every external link or video on Spyroforum as potentially offensive.

This change will get rid of the need for most of the "moderator edits" that were starting to seem overboard and unnecessary while also hopefully saving some moderator time as we won't be strictly policing every single video or link posted.

*"Reasonable amounts" is obviously a pretty loose term that could mean just about anything, but please try to use your common sense to figure out what it might mean within context. As always, it is up to moderators to determine what's allowed. It's going to depend on a lot context and may seem inconsistent at times, but please trust that we will be doing our best to treat each case fairly.

Examples:

• Saying "s***" or "f***" for emphasis a couple times every now and then is probably fine. Go ahead and post it with no warning.

• Saying "s***" or "f***" every other word is not fine. Don't post this video or link.

• Videos or links with violent, sexual, or shocking content are still not fine. Do not post these. If you wouldn't see or hear it in a T-rated game, don't post it at all.

• Anything that sits statically on the page that has a censored word in it will not be allowed as people can't choose not to view it while scrolling through a thread. If you want to post an image that has censored words in it, please edit it first to remove the word(s), or don't post it at all.
