I have to admit that's an amazing quote, though. Although I can't completely ignore this feeling of wanting to slap Ted in the face with a warm mackerel for thinking Activision has done a good Job with Spyro and all this Skylanders nonsense.

However it's not like miracles haven't happened before. That being said, if Insomniac took Spyro back from Activision for even one game I could cast aside all other evils of the world and die with an honest to God smile on my face. Heck... You guys may even see a grown man cry.

Welcome to the forums! But like I said there, we're not an official forum and aren't affiliated with the developers or publishers of Spyro games, so we aren't the right people to ask for a remake. And no, there is no remake of any Spyro game,  but you can buy the original trilogy in the Playstation store.
