Yo everyone long time since I've visited Spyroforum...

Spyro 2: Gateway To Glimmer was the first Spyro game and one of the first games (if not the first) I've ever played it also happens to be my all time favorite game

Nope, I played them in the correct order, beginning with Spyro The Dragon, then Ripto's Rage and finally Year of the Dragon.

i got year of the dragon around the time it came out then i got spyro 1 bout a
year or two later and then got spyro 2 so your kind of not alone there delsair

yep, i'm almost certain Ripto's Rage was my first Spyro game. i was way too young to remember for sure, but i'm *almost* certain.

I don't think that's irony as much as it is slightly unusual.

Nope, Spyro 1 was my first video game ever and was brand new around winter 1998. I then got the remaining two in the proper order as they were released during the next two years. It's quite amazing to think back now at how long those two years seemed back then, compared to now when one year after another just fly by...

I did play Crash 2 (and ironically wanted Crash 3, which was the newest at the time) before Crash 1 though. And I turned out quite ok

I played Spyro 3 first, then Spyro 2 and then Spyro 1
(Spyro 2 was the first one I saw being played, though)

I think I played them mostly in the right order if I remember right.

I first played Spyro 1 at a friend's house. Shortly after, my family got a Playstation with no memory card, and I rented Spyro 2. Obviously I didn't get very far with no memory card, but once we did get one, Spyro 1 was the first Spyro game we bought.
