This video is more about animals in general rather than just humans. I don't think it's trying to say that there's one specific gene that determines selfishness, either - what it's saying is that animals are selfish by nature because that's what it takes for individuals to survive. When they reproduce, they pass their selfish traits on to their children.

I highly doubt selfishness is a gene. It's just the outcome of living in a certain environment. Bad parents, bad friends, maybe even bad teachers/mentors through life.

I found it pretty interesting to think that our cells needed bodies to protect themselves from the things outside of it. Just something i've never thought about before.

Not read it fully yet, but so far very interesting.
Have you read this book, and if not then what book do you wanna recommend within biology.
