The only thing I really disliked about it was how unpolished it was. There were a lot of parts that were probably not tested very thoroughly, like challenges that could be completed for a reward multiple times, or depth looking different than what it actually was.

i am realizing this more and more since i got this for Christmas. my biggest problem is easily the platforming. things look like ledges that aren't ledges; things look like you should be able to jump/glide onto them but you can't; i swear i've just fallen through ledges a few times; it's bizarre. this is especially bad in that area with the wizards. there's an area. you go onto one of those purple... basically whirlwinds. and then you're supposed to jump/glide onto a platform directly to the left. i still can't get onto that far-left platform*. i managed to get onto it a few times by accident, but i have no idea what i did differently. it's like there's an invisible wall, but there isn't. there's also a little "platform" right above it, but apparently it's not actually a platform, because i just fall through it.

i also got stuck between a palm tree and a bush in the Shadow Realm in Dragon Shores. thankfully i still had some MP, i had to teleport to get unstuck.

don't get me wrong, i'm REALLY enjoying the game overall so far, but it really is unpolished.

a) It felt 'choppy' at times
and
b) It was far too short.

Had they gone through with this as a console game, I can see it getting much more attention. I remember playing through and wondering why on earth it wasn't a PS2 game.

A lot of people probably don't like it because they would have preferred it not be an RPG, but I didn't mind that.

I boycotted EA and Blizzard. Have you heard anything about EA or Blizzard going bankrupt lately? No. I boycotted them because of horrible customer support in both cases, and, well, bad games, in EA's case. Blizzard makes good games (excluding Diablo 3,) but they have awful customer support. Took me a very long time to get my account back after a hack, when all the person on the live chat did was brute-force the account, anyway. I'm ranting, but my point is, how many times have enough people boycotted a corporation to an extent where said corporation actually changed their mind about something? I can't recall any, because if a corporation is big enough to the point where people will boycott it, it's likely that they are so large that they 100% do not care about any of their customers. Activision is one of these companies, and there are MANY more people who are willing to buy Skylanders every year than there are people who are actively not buying Skylanders because of the sole reason that it exists, which seems to be a popular reason to bash it these days. Sure, Skylanders is, at least in my opinion, a sub-par game. However, claiming that it is so bad that you should make it clear to the developers that you are not buying it, and then going to a small forum of about 15 - 25 regulars to tell them to do the same is not going to get you anywhere.
