This looks to me to be nothing more than an argument about canon vs. fanon. I think Locoguy107 must know that his ideas are not canon; it's just supposed to be how he would hypothetically put them together, not how it was actually intended by the creators. Am I wrong?

Loco, the original and LoS universe are completely different from one another, no matter how much imagination and thought you put into it to make it sound understandable that they're "the same". Sure it would make sense in your world, but not in the actual series.

Sometimes I think that the whole "multiple universes" thing wouldn't make so much of a manipulatable game if someone were to revive Spyro in a way that would have both classic and TLoS elements. It would mean that both stories of Spyro: Shadow Legacy and TLoS would need to come into play, and, really, I'm thinking that the whole "universes come together thing" wouldn't suit Spyro. I can imagine it suiting Ratchet & Clank for another Ratchet & Clank-focused game, in which Ratchet's universe is fused with an enemy's universe, but...

Well, if you got bigger ideas, I'm all ears.

I mentioned a few powers classic Spyro got that inspired the powers for TLoS Spyro.

And, really, I think that the "alternate universes" thing is a little confusing. Is that really what the majority thinks?

the original Spyro had a completely different tonne and style is alls, whilst TLOS was just Lord of the Rings without the Ring.

The timeline is a little confusing, since the originals and the LoS are two completely different universes like Clock-la said.

Meh, naah, TLOS and Origional Spyro are both different universes, people can try to tie the nots together but they just don't fit.

I'm also sure I read somewhere that the Sorceress was a dinosaur, just can't remember where.

Well, let's say that those other purple dragons aren't pure; they were born a different color, but somehow found things that made them turn purple. Since they aren't purely purple, they can't use the same powers that pure purple dragons can. Both Spyros, Malefor, and the Sorcerer are pure purple dragons.

PS: Can you share this with darkSpyro, please? I'd do it myself, but I don't want to get bashed.

It was an enjoyable read, but a couple of things stood out:
- Spyro in StD and later games can't be the fourth purple dragon, as at least 6 of the dragons he rescues are purple.
- I think the Sorceress is just a dinosaur or some kind of lizard, since she does not have horns either.
