Just an update on this: the edit was removed. It now says "1998 - 2000." This was almost definitely false information.

Considering how long the PS2 lived after the PS3's release, I wouldn't be surprised if they're going to keep producing PS3 games for a while yet.

I'm looking through the revision history of this article to try and find when that was changed and who changed it. It looks like people have messed with the developers/publishers sections before, either to troll or to feed their own delusions, can't be sure which with this fandom. Anyway, here is the revision where the change first appeared. It was made on April 27th of this year by an unregistered user (86.10.90.39) who seems to be going around making minor changes to a lot of pages relating to Spyro, Crash, and other video games. I guess make of that information what you will, because I certainly can't say anything conclusive about it.

If you want my honest opinion about this, though, my money is on, like I said, either bait for fans or just someone who's so desperate for a Spyro game that they've somehow convinced themselves that lying about it will make it true.

As a side note, I see there are mentions of a Skylanders film, which is kind of interesting. I bet lots of LoS fans are going to be *bleep*ed if Skylanders gets a movie when theirs was cancelled. ._.

Who said that if it will be developed, it will be only availible on PS4? As i know life, it would've came out on PS3 as well.

i edited a Wikipedia entry for a band i like a few times to update info, and i was amazed by how easy it was for me, without an account, to just go in and change information on the page. no sources necessary, no (again) account, nothing. mind you i was posting correct info, but still.

i really hope that's true, and it wasn't just somebody playing around.

Yeah, I'm not planning on getting a PS4 for quite a while either.

I'm still not gonna deny that Sony may have gotten the rights to Crash Bandicoot back and they're just keeping it under wraps until E3, but I find Spyro much less likely as there are games currently being released with Spyro in them, unlike Crash.

Interesting find. That would be pretty cool without a doubt--unlikely, but cool. I certainly seems possible that Sony might want Spyro back. Though if there was a new Spyro game it would almost assuredly be on PS4, which would kind of suck (at least for me because I'm not planning on getting one any time soon)

I don't really understand your comment here? I posted this as insight on to whether Sony maybe brought the rights back to Spyro or not. Seeing that their listed as the new publisher but we can never be sure, because Wikipedia is a biased source and anyone can edit the page.

In my opinion I think this is a troll but with E3 nearing, no one can be 100% sure.

What do you guys think? I know anyone can edit things on Wikipedia, but what if this was really true.
