He resides in the depths of my mind, roaming free. Flying without constraints. And he has Cynder, who actually doesn't have a dry personality.

I've always considered him an Artisan dragon, since he seems to be similar in appearance to them.

I think that Spyro is Artisan because he starts there on Spyro 1. So I would guess he also lives there (Unless he was only visiting Artisan world when Gnasty turned all the dragons into crystal.

I think 36 would be right about this one. Avalar and the Forgotten Worlds were definitely foreign places to Spyro. I never thought that they are actually different worlds, just different locations on the planet that the dragons live on. Though it's interesting to think about how the Forgotten Worlds even work, because the only way you can get to them is by going underground, yet they have a sky and stuff. Maybe underground tunnels come out somewhere above ground, and the tunnels are the only way the dragons know how to get there? Or maybe I'm thinking into this too much.

I always found it interesting to think about what "race" of dragon that Spyro would be (Artisan, Peace Keeper, Magic Crafter, Beast Maker, or Dream Weaver). Spyro would live in the Spyro 1 world, since he was teleported to Avalar in Spyro 2 and the Forgotten Realms hadn't had dragons for a thousand years.

in the cutscenes, he seems to mostly be in a place that looks like Stone Hill, so i'd say he lives there. or some similar-looking world.

I'm actually baffled on where to place Spyro. Some of the levels, like Fireworks Factory, do indeed look Asian-influenced. However, some levels, like Charmed Ridge and the Artisans homeworld, seem much more European. Spyro lives in the Dragon Realms, or at least we've been told. However, the Dragon Realms could actually be similar to a real-world location. The portals to levels from homeworlds could be portals to different parts of the world.

Of course I'm sure Spyro didn't live in any specific place, but I think Spyro definitely resided in Asian countries.
