You make a good bond with your Pokemon, they can land critical hits easier, can Shake of status effects at times, and can sometimes dodge attacks plenty of benefits.

There were huge benefits actually. It was the only way to get the fairy eeveelution and, my favorite thing about it, was if you get a pokemon's friendship all the way up with that they'll have better chances of dodging attacks, getting critical hits, and other things in battle. (They also look back at you waiting for you to tell them what to do, which is cool)

I think I used Pokemon Amie twice throughout my two playthroughs of X and Y. Was there actually any benefit for doing it?

Maybe he's just usually tried. But I love that ninja frog my favourite Water/Dark type and favourite of the Kalos starters! Greninja is master race!

Greninja's eyes in Amie are always like that, yet in battle they're normal. I don't know why.

I love that ape but he's one of my heroes along with Diddy. And that grab and KO move is pretty cool but DK does get KO'd too.
