French toast sticks, at least the ones I've made at work are literally just frozen sticks of who-knows-what stuck in a fryer for 2 and a half minutes. They taste alright, but I've never been a huge fan of fried foods to begin with. Real french toast is the *bleep* though.

I don't care for them. They make me think of comparing pizza rolls to pizza. Sure they're okay, but not even close to the original.

A lot of school cafeterias have them. They're okay I guess, but like most cafeteria foods, they don't taste very fresh.

I haven't had waffles in a long time but i do know i love how the syrup just fills up those little squares. I don't like super fluffy pancakes because it soaks up all the syrup and then i can barely taste it, that's why i have my pancakes thinner.

Pure, whole canadian maple syrup isn't too sweet. At least where i buy it here
