Well, the Post Reply button is directly above the Subscribe link, so that seems pretty likely.

I'll leave this open just in case anyone wants to report this happening.

I'm not aware of any bugs relating to thread subscriptions. What's the thread?

I don't think it subscribes you to any threads automatically; it's never happened to me. Unless you have to specifically enable a feature.

My guess is that it subscribes you to threads that you make. Did you start that thread?

it said in an e-mail that i was subscribed to a thread that got a new post today, but i don't subscribe to threads, thus i didn't subscribe to that one either. but i still got an e-mail about it.

is anyone else having that problem with these notifications? it could easily just be that i clicked the subscribe button/link by accident, but *if* this is an issue, it should probably be addressed.
