It has some dueling mode quickly put in to make the game seem like it has more variety. It'a just button mashing like the rest of the game.

Well, there was already Dawn of the Dragon in what, 2008? You could play the whole game with two players as Spyro and Cynder.

Not sure what kind of multiplayer Skylanders has, as that's the current direction of the Spyro franchise.
