Buzz from Spyro 3 does the same thing. you can glide/hover/headbash as he's charging at you and you can continue to go up higher. if you have the rocket or the whirligig, you can stand on top of them. i never knew the bulls here did it too, though. o.o

WOW
I never realized they programmed the bulls that way(faster collision detection by not checking height). Something else that surprised me was that the mountains were solid, as I always thought they were part of the skybox.

Really nice find!!!

Cool, that's really interesting. I didn't even know there was stuff out there. Never encountered that glitch with the bulls, either.

A while ago I watched some guy mess around with the bulls in Town Square, so I thought I would too. If you don't know, the bulls in town square will hit you upward when you jump into them, and you can recover and glide early enough that its possible to get to some good height. for whatever reason, the bulls also have infinite range vertically, allowing you to chain jumps. If done enough times, you can get to a circular roof, jump off and glide past the world boundaries and onto the mountains outside, which serves no purpose other than to look cool.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_VhDwNbKzw&feature
^A vid showing how to do it.
