i didn't even think of that when i made the ref, honestly. seeing how dragon wings seems to work, the membranes should probably be a little lighter than the other part. unless it'd be easier to leave them the same shade. whatever works.

and yep, no belly plate.

Gecko eyes are so neat.
But quick question, are the membranes of the wings the same color as the arms? And I assume he has no belly plates. If so, you could just specify what they look like. I just want to make sure of colors before I get started.

I think a good way to slide back into the Spyro fandom will be to draw more dragons. But I've drawn my characters WAY too much. So my solution? I'll draw yours~
So come one, come all, and if you give me a good description of your dragon character (or a picture, a picture reference would be SO HELPFUL) I can give it a shot. Please specify if you want it to be done on paper or using MS Paint.
Traditional art will look something like this:

Except my anatomy has gotten slightly better since then and I will try to make sure the scanner picks up the color better. I may or may not do a background... that'll be up to how I feel when I get done.
My MS Paint artwork is to this quality:

It will be considerably brighter, though if your dragon has any gradient shading (red shifting to orange, or something) it will be easier to do traditionally.
So now that I've shown you what my art looks like, would anyone like a little something? Feel free to talk to me, I don't bite.
