I really wonder where came the idea to make Spyro look like this.

I'm assuming it was to fit the art style of the game, which is understandable until you remember he isn't even supposed to be in the game in the first place.

I used to be a much more argumentative person. I always wanted to be "right" in debates and have the last word. Surprisingly (to fifteen-year-old me, at least), most people find this incredibly obnoxious and just want to have nice discussions. I can still be pushy with my opinions sometimes, but I'm working on it, especially when it comes to topics like video games, where it's all personal preference anyway and the outcome of the argument will have no positive real world impact if I "win."

LocoGuy, I usually don't like to stick my nose into things like this, but I feel like I can relate, and I have some sincere advice. I did some stupid things on this forum a very long time ago (like, seven years ago) around the time when the Legend of Spyro trilogy made its debut. I couldn't stand how they redesigned him. It wasn't Spyro to me, so I let my anger over the situation get the best of me. But now, looking back at some of the posts I made, I'm embarrassed of them. I realized that I was so immature. And now, when Skylanders came out, I thought it looked stupid as well, but I just chose not to buy it and not to partake in Skylanders because I didn't want to. But what I do choose to do is enjoy the classics. I've played those games so much that I had to buy a new copy of Spyro the Dragon off of ebay because it was worn out, and now, Ripto's Rage is waning too. Instead of wasting my energy on bashing the rebooted versions of Spyro, I now just use that energy to thoroughly enjoy the first three. I play them when I feel stressed and even listen to the music when I'm doing homework or cleaning. I mean, if the old Spyro is what you like, then just like it! Dwelling on Skylanders will not make you feel better, I promise.

This same thing for me; when I first entered Spyrochat I remember talking about how much I hated cynder, and how the addition of a love interest into my beloved series was absolutely ridiculous, now I look back on it and cringe, just choosing to ignore the Legend of Spyro when it pops up, and I can probably assure Locoguy he'll look back on this and cringe, eventually. He'll grow up.

This kind of thing is not how you get yourself unrestricted; it's how to get yourself banned.

i don't even care that you make the posts themselves, i'm seriously concerned about the content of the posts, that isn't healthy, mentally or physically. do other things bother you this much? even if not, you get really riled up about this issue a lot, that's not good.

But one of my old friends took IGN's word as gospel he'd look up games I was playing and send me there review like "LOOK THEY SAID IT IS S*** WHY ARE YOU ON IT!!!!!!!11111" and I just kept telling him over and over and OVER AND OVER! that I could not give two s*** what a website says, If I like a game it is because I like it!

(Note this friend played Nothing but CoD ALL the time might I add, like no joke, he playing nothing else ever!! xD)

EDIT: I remember as well when on Game Trailers people went INSANE that Uncharted 2 got a 9.2. like it was the lowest score ever given to a game! IT'S 9.2 THAT IS A F***ING AMAZING SCORE!!!!!!!!!!

That's true; who cares what a website says? It's your opinion. I totally agree.
