That's what I once read out of an old game magazine. Which makes sense looking at the 1st game's starting spot (lots of green). Then again it makes me wonder why a lot of the enemies got away with being green... maybe size? I dunno.

Here's another fun fact: Spyro's voice actor (from 2, 3, and dragonfly), Tom Kenny, works in a lot of cartoons that are quite recognizable. Mayor from powder puff girls, ice king from adventure time, heck even spongebob and rabbit from the newer pooh movie. I think the very original voice actor (Carlos Alazraqui) was the same guy that did the Taco Bell dog's voice.
