Yea, I just find she whined too much. Her voice in DotD was also pretty terrible.

I think I like skylanders cynder more than TLoS. she's a lot more fiesty/ready to really kick some tail.

IMO she was a terrible character. Badly placed, written, and acted. Her voice acting was terrible, she was emotionless, and didn't it Spyro's personality. The classic spyro, at least. That's the only Spyro I visualize. Spyro shouldn't have a love interest. That's just not Spyro, you know? I dunno.

Well cynder was a pretty cool villan in ANB she's not really around much in TEN though she was an okay character when she was around and for DotD.. bad voice acting (like that havent been said before, ever.) and aperared not to give a single (naughty word) trough the entire game. again due to bad voice acting.
what's this? mujaffa creeping out of his shell being active on the forum? yeah! PS: almost forgot, Stormy, cynder is like totaly hawt and stuff. (joking)

The story was rushed, and Cynder in DotD came out very different than what she was in ANB and TEN, mostly due to Estranges Libellules not being familiar with the LoS story like Krome Studios was, resulting in the game being rushed with unexplained plotholes and character designs.

I like her dark background, but her attitude, voice actor and wild fanbase in DotD kinda ruined Cynder for me.

I really, really don't like her in DotD.
Everywhere else, she was okay. Pretty wicked as a villian.

In general she was Ok, but i hated her voice acting in Spyro DOTD.

Also offtopic but she looks even worse then spyro does in Skylanders.

Cynder in ANB was an interesting character. she was okay in TEN, i don't actually have any complaints about that. Cynder in DOTD was just... it's bad. her dialogue is very awkward. "Cynder, that will help greatly in

[Disclaimer: I have not played DotD, so this is about what I remember about ANB and TEN Cynder]

I don't really like or dislike her, at least not any more than the other TLoS characters. As a villain she was actually pretty cool, but once she turned good she became just as flat and uninteresting as the rest of them. I hoped that controversy about her being Spyro's sister would turn out to be true, because then she could have at least been something other than the obligatory love interest. But, alas.

I think a lot of the pure hatred for Cynder from some fans comes from an annoyance at the more... rabid side of the fandom. You know, the ones that say Cyder is "hot" and throw a fit whenever anyone says a negative thing about her or TLoS. As annoying as this is, though, that's a problem with the fandom, not the character itself.

I didn't mind Cynder too much, she was a good villain in New Beginning granted she was the hardest boss for me when I first played the game, I liked her voice actress more in New Beginning and Eternal Night than in Dawn of the Dragon, course Christina Ricci isn't bad, she just was too plain and unsympathetic to the fact Ignitus died and Spyro was upset about it.
Nonetheless not an awful love interest, certainly enjoyed her backstory and everything.
