In my opinion, it did give Spyro justice, just not in the eyes of fans who cling to Insomniac and Sierra.

It's pointless keeping him alive if he's just going to be an asset in a game of 100s of characters. Maybe once he gets his own game again, keeping him alive will become worth it.

Lol, this is hilarious. Tossing a random game character into your series in an attempt to sell more copies is not doing anything justice.

The upcoming game will have jumping in the console versions.

For being a platform series, it should of from the start.

Spyro does NOT look like he ever did. Its hard to recognize him. Its just a purple dragon thing with a fat jack o lantern head.

The other is the absence of Sparx. Sure, hes there, but you must PURCHASE the sparx figure to use him.

Well you can't expect Spyro to look exactly the same in every reboot in the franchise. I've seen many dragons with different faces growing up, I wasn't fazed that much by Spyro's redesign.

He looks just fine to me probably because I got so use to the design and love it now. Also I mean yeah Sprax is an item  like character in the game but there still is plenty of other characters beside him that make up for it. It's it's own franchise now Skylanders is but Cynder is in it Spyro is in it. Sparx not being a main character dosen't change the fact there's still plenty of other characters in it. You've got your option so I respect it but just because Spyro is not a main focal point in Skylanders does not mean he is not one of the main characters in the series. Peace all that is all I can offer as an option.

The series makes Activision money. If it keeps doing so which it does they will continue to make more toys and games based of the franchise. Best thing to do like Stormy said if you don't like the series ignore it.

That being said I am looking forward to Skylanders Swap Force and a potential Skylanders TV series off topic I know but to get back on topic if you don't like the series once again don't pay any mind to it.

But, they were already planning on making more games after DotD, even one that was going to include blood. But then they decided against that and worked with TFB and decided to do Skylanders, with Spyro being the reason for its creation.
