I... honestly don't know. I feel like Cynder's confession at the end of Dawn of the Dragon came out of nowhere. They bickered through that game, and in the first two they didn't seem to have any feelings for each other. They were a little friendlier to each other in the Eternal Night, but she apparently didn't like him enough to stay, because she ran away.
Yeah, she was able to calm him down at the end of TEN. But even Sparx's words were able to do that a little. But it took her tackling him to the ground to completely snap him out of it. She was sympathetic to him then, but I don't really see that as love, it's just being a good friend.
And Dawn of the Dragon... man, I don't know. It's been a while since I've played these, to be honest. But I don't remember much building on their relationship. They learned how to work together and became closer that way, but I don't think that was love. And trust me, I'm one of those people that can find romantic possibility anywhere.
So in the end... Spyro/Cynder is an okay pairing. Maybe when things calm down Spyro will grow to love her back. Though I think he's a bit too serious for her. At least, he grows very serious in the last game. Maybe that'll go away. But once they're in love I think they would be very close and yes, I think they would make good parents. I've given them a son, myself.
To make a long story short: Spyro and Cynder could get merri and have baby. It's just not the only possibility out there. I still think both could fall for someone else. A lot changes when you grow up, and they're only fifteen. Twelve if you don't think that they changed mentally while in the crystal, but I just go with fifteen.

I'm not voting on this as I never really played the new games, but I agree with the sentiment that Spyro would necessarily grow up and perhaps have a relationship. I won't dispute that, because it seemed normal to me that he would grow up. In the original games it fits absolutely nowhere in the story that he would have a relationship, although another character looking up to him would be reasonable just as it would in Crash Bandicoot. If he had a companionship at that point, the story would be very different. It also doesn't upset me to think that he could have children by now - in fact I'd love to see them.

TLoS Spyro and Cynder 'is get merry', I think. Both of them as characters, and their relationship, never interested me, but when I think about it, even if Spyro isn't in love with Cynder, she will probably get him into it.

The original Spyro(First three games) never showed any signs of Spyro being ready for a serious relationship, but I think he would grow out of the childish attitude he expressed at the end of Spyro 3 in a relatively short time.

you won't believe where i thought

anyway, i'm saying Spyro and Cynder should be together. they do seem to have very different personalities, but, i don't know, they don't seem to care. they seem to get along fine anyway, and are well on their way to being a couple anyway. honestly, i'm not really sure where i stand on children, and i feel a little wierd sitting around and dictating the futures of fictional characters since there's no indication in-game. for the heck of it, i'll say they shouldn't have kids.

as for original Spyro, after playing around on those games again lately, i've come to the conclusion that original Spyro shouldn't be with anybody. for explanation, check out just about anything he says, including after defeating the Sorceress.

Y'know, it's never confirmed that Spyro loves her, and just to be different from the norm, I am gonna say Spyro should be single. They never really had any screen-time together and there was no real development except for DotD, which consisted of Spyro being boring and Cynder being a sniping little...

Anyway, there, I said my opinions.

Eh, the whole "Spyro x Cynder" thing never clicked for me. It was a pretty uninteresting part of the games that Cynder grew to like Spyro, and Cynder herself is a fairly bland character (the only thing making her different from other "ooh look female bad guy turns good because she falls for the hero" is that she's a dragon). I chose the 3rd option instead of the 4th because honestly Spyro x Elora seems more like what Spyro (i.e. a dragon who doesn't even seem to be the dragon equivalent of an adolescent) would do in a "relationship".

Spyro's personality (since you said we could get into that as well) really just worked better back when he was "childish dragon who likes playing the hero", not "semi-gritty teen-oriented hero dragon in a big scary world"

I honestly don't know enough about Cynder to know whether or not 'spyro and cynder is get merry', since I just rage-quit from the series after TLoS. Since most if my experience of Spyro games are when he's a very young dragon... something just doesn't seem 'right' about him being in a relationship...

Spyro and Cynder's relationship in the Legend games is the subject of many fanfictions and often a topic of debate. A lot of fans think they are dating or will get married after the events of the Legend series and speculate that they might have children. Others would rather Spyro be "shipped" with someone else like Elora, Ember, or an OC; and still others would rather not have Spyro be in a relationship at all.

Remember to vote for your true opinion, but you don't necessarily have to argue what you vote for.

I think Spyro games are not the setting for obvious relationships. They're just not that kind of game. In fanfiction I suppose it's okay, but it still feels out of place. But it goes back to what Spyro you're talking about. The story-driven TLoS universe would probably make more sense for a Spyro relationship than the original universe.

We could also get into discussing Cynder as a character. Does she have a personality that "works" with Spyro's? Does she even have a personality? What is Spyro's personality, anyway?
