Sorry if this is not allowed to post, but its just a patch. Since you own a legal copy, it should be ok. Download this:

Then follow the info in the ZIP file on how to patch the game. What the patch does is successfully removes the anti piracy protection (Or anti gnorc as i call it), and lets you play with ease. I currently use it since i dont have a playstation anymore, but want to use an emulator. I own a legal disk and this happens to me too. Seems EPSXE cant tell if its *Legal* or not.

I think I'll try CloneCD because now Daemon Tools Lite won't open for me?

Edit: CloneCD worked!! Now I have a backup copy of my Spyro 2 Gateway To Glimmer. It's little bit strange quality it lags more than the original but it doesn't matter.

Well, then I don't know... maybe try CloneCD, but I'm not sure if it is free...

It (Daemon tools) can't recognize the cd or something. I can't even start the creating of .mdx file. Spyro 2 is little bit scratched but Spyro 3 is in pretty good shape.

It should automatically be an iso file, in which there will be an image file where you can play through that for the 'Run ISO'.
Also, make a new file for that game, copy the files inside the iso file to it and you'll know what I mean once you've done things correctly.

Yes, but with burn and AnytoISO you convert them automatically to .iso files, which inside are .img files, run them and BAM! Done. Hope I helped!

So basicly I just put the ps1 disc on cd drive ,or whatever it's called, and burn it like regular cd (I have only burned audio cd's and one time a concert from dvd but it failed so I'm not sure how to burn a game on your pc). And after that I convert it to right file type.

I just use a program Burn or another one called AnytoISO.
Hope it helps (I'm running Mac, so I don't know if they work on PC).

Also, if you want to run the CD through the app without that process, here's some help. (I made this little tutorial) Ok, I use PCSX-R, but I think (I haven't used your emulator) you just insert the disc and press run CD-ROM in the pop-up menu, like when running an iso.
Hope I helped, never used your emulator before, so don't hate, because I'm just guessing because that's how it works on PCSX-R.

This may be little bit off topic, but I don't want to make a new topic. Since this topic already has discussion about roms and emulators. Could someone post a step-by-step tutorial on how to do rom files out of my ps1 games without breaking the disc or damaging the files on the disc. I will make those roms for personal use and I won't spread them in internet. I'm using ePSXe emulator so the file has to be something that emulator runs.
