you know, for a while i thought that maybe it was just Americans who went absolutely nuts in advertising, you know, "HOLY CRAP, THIS THING MAKES TORTILLA SHELLS THAT *GASP* ARE SHAPED LIKE BOWLS!!! HOW DID YOU LIVE WITHOUT THIS THING BEFORE?! WHAT AN AMAZING INVENTION, HERE TO PROVE THAT THE PAST 1900+ YEARS WEREN'T IN VAIN!!!!!"
but nope, apparently the UK does it as well. the announcer for this one show about chefs or something sounds like he's off in some kind of daydream fantasy about watching this show. i don't know, i just expected better of the UK, advertise with a little more class.

well, now the important thing is that there are countries out there whose populations still largely don't have TVs. i'll buy a ton of cans of bug spray, and go live there until modern society implodes on itself.
