Well, the anniversary is already over. At 10:09AM this morning, it was officially 56 years since the Andrea Doria capsized and sank.

Tonight is the 56th anniversary of the sinking of the Andrea Doria. It collided with the MS Stockholm at 11:10PM and sank at 10:09AM next morning. Only some 50 died, mostly in the collision.
