teehee. i wonder what Malefor's image was doing in the Ruins of Warfang. i don't remember any mention of his personality when he was young. i know the Chronicler talks about him, getting powers and going crazy, but i don't know if he (or anyone, really) made references to his personality. how did the Hermit know so much? the apes worked more for their own gain than Malefor's... who is this guy, how in the world did he know that? it's the details they need to work out.

(lololololazy programmers) anyway, my theory relevant to the plotline is that it represents her losing the evil inside of her. she was black when she first became good again, then she was gray, showing the "darkness" (hate that metaphor) was leaving her, and then by DOTD she was that color, closer to Spyro's color, and Spyro is the character of general goodness in the story.

i have no idea. anyway, what in the world happened to Sparx's parents?! Spyro in ANB said "wait til i tell the folks about this!" or something during training, he never does!

Oh yeah I forgot about that quote during the fire training where Spyro says wait till I tell the folks about this, what the heck game! Another thing I always wanted to know is what Malefor was like when he was young, Chief Prowlus even says I have not forgotten what they say Malefor was like when he was young. What was Malefor like? Also how the heck does the Hermit know Cynder? I mean that part still confuses me to this day.

Player movement was too strict in DotD. As much as I liked flying, I felt like a
bird in a small cage after being told to run free.

this was 1999

there are a couple of possibilities there.

one is that this has all been building up: one purple dragon would do this thing, the next would do that thing, and Malefor was the one to actually destroy it, but as he said, he used Spyro and Cynder along the way.

another is that the world is indeed destroyed every time a purple dragon comes along, but the energy of the spirits of the dragons brings the world back.

as for it being blown up, nobody said it has to be blown up. well, Malefor did, but Malefor is apparently very deceptive and speaks with about 40,000 voice effects at the same time. it was just something that was happening, and nature managed to turn everything around every time. now that Malefor is destroyed, and now that Spyro has indeed fulfilled his alleged destiny through Malefor's deception, things are back to normal, and will probably stop, since the world's destruction was already reversed with Spyro still living and being the good guy - peace has been restored, so the cycle will probably stop.

So wait all purple dragons that came before Spyro excluding Malefor destroyed the world? I'm confused, did all the purple dragons that came before Spyro and Malefor do the same thing Malefor tried to do, which is resurrect the Golem and the Destroyer to destroy the world? Ugh!

There hasn't been confirmation about other purple dragons before Malefor. Malefor claimed that the duty of the purple dragon was to destroy the world.

Not really, unless I'm understanding ME's story wrong, too. Any Mass Effect nerds can feel free to correct me, but I'm pretty sure the Reapers kill off a species when they get "too advanced" (not for world improvement) and never give a reason why they're doing it. When you ask Harbinger why he just says something like "it's beyond your comprehension." Kind of a cop-out.

I haven't played ME3 yet, but from what I've heard, the reason they commit mass genocide every few thousand years is never explained.

Yea seems stupid to me. Least Kefka(From FF6) had a pretty reasonable explanation to want to destroy the world. He's literary insane. As you see throughout the game. Here It seems to be "I want to destroy the world for the ELULZ for something.

Not really, unless I'm understanding ME's story wrong, too.
