Anyway has any new caricatures been announced yet?

Personally, I loved the original three, but I also liked ANB and DoTD in their own rights as games. Yea, they are all completely different, but the problem is there, they are different. Wanting a game to outright disappear is pretty stupid, especially if others like the new Skylanders game. If you don't enjoy something, no one is forcing you to buy it, and the same issue appears with almost every popular game series ever known. To many, it happened to Crash Bandicoot, Sonic, CoD, and hundreds of others. In fact, it doesn't just happen to video games. The Pokémon anime, Dune books, and even Facebook itself are examples of this.

It happens to everything. The best you can do is to move on and let the next group enjoy what you don't.

As for Spyro (I apologize in advance for this rant that I've typed out many times, but I think it's relevant here), I don't see what the problem is with the idea that he "died a long time ago." As soon as the series went off in the completely different direction that was LoS, Spyro did die for a lot of people because it was no longer the Spyro that they knew. I am continually astounded by the fact that people apparently cannot grasp that, when Spyro rebooted, it became a completely different series, even if it had the same name and a couple of the same characters. Thus, there was really no reason that someone should like the new games or even consider them "Spyro" if they don't want to.

I guess the point is that many people, myself included, aren't going to stick to something and support any direction it takes out of mere loyalty to a brand name (which is essentially all Spyro is). Even though I'm thinking about trying Skylanders, it has much more to do with the fact that it looks fun than fact that a purple dragon thing named Spyro is in it. I don't care that Spyro happens to be in it, because as far as I'm concerned, he's not.

You might think this sounds like a original fantard rant, but I assure you it is not. I am perfectly okay with the fact that other people hold the opinion that Spyro is "still alive" or whatever. I just see all the series as completely different entities which have nothing to do with each other. While the original games are my "real Spyro," others who played LoS first and liked it might call that the "real Spyro."

This was way too long for something I don't even care that much about, haha.

Square Enix had a new game to announce today. I know some of you have played (and loved) Nier. Were any of you looking for a sequel or something similar to Nier? Did you absolutely love this diamond in the rough? Were you expecting great things from the development company that co-developed Nier along with Square Enix?!

I don't understand what's so wrong about putting him in a brawl game like this.  The sliver of a chance he has on getting in, they'd probably make him in his first generation form.  Isn't that what the real issue is for everbody?  I have never understand the 'let him die' thing unless you feel it threatens your childhood memories, in which case, I'd say that that is just part of growing up.

It's not because it threatens my childhood memories. A bunch of other things already ruined some of my childhood memories. What I want is my Spyro to be UN****** WITH!! It's pretty much consistent that no one can do Spyro justice anymore after the PS1 era. And if Insomniac(Or whatever the company was called that made the PS1 games) won't take him back. Then just put him out of misery.

Will Spyro be in it. We shall see.

Besides, most of those characters were already unofficially in Brawl.
