Ah, so were you talking about buying new domain like spyroforum and starting over instead of buying this site? I was a little confused there because I was pretty sure that wouldn't have to be something I'd have to explain.

buying a .com domain with a name like "spyroforum" probably wouldn't cost much, especially compared to something like "music" .com, or "video" .com which would cost $sldalgsasg.63463sggadhjjj because names like that are more accessible and more frequently searched.

getting a forum made on a pre-made website like proboards or something is free, so if we ever begin an uprising, that would probably be the route to take.

I completely agree with both of these; in fact I've been saying it for years. Thing is, though, our admin doesn't want to do any reorganization of the site. I had to push really hard a few years ago to even get "Spyro Games" renamed to "Spyro Roleplaying" and "SPAM" renamed to "SPAM/Forum Games." I originally wanted subforums, but our version of phpbb does not support that, and I highly doubt we're getting an upgrade on that anytime soon, if ever.

I, like, really want to buy this forum and manage it myself, haha. You guys have such good ideas I'd love to see implemented. But that's probably never happening. XD

Another idea would be to reorganize the forum altogether.

We have dozens of sections, and most of them are sort of redundant. For example, we have a section devoted to every single Spyro game. Then we have one devoted to Spyro tips/hints, general Spyro chat, the future of Spyro, etc.

My suggestion would be to combine them into one section and have them divided into their own sub-sections (like most other forums seem to do).

Another thing is that the Special Groups sections shouldn't be limited so much. Take away the need to be administered there by a mod, it isn't like people should need to ask permission for something they can get simply by asking for it.
