They will do it if the publisher deems it profitable enough to do. I think there's enough people who grew up with spyro to buy a mobile version if it was similar to the original platform we they were familiar with.

now that somebody else disagreed...

mine is more of an advertising gripe. iphones are too popular for how un/worthy of a product they actually are. putting Spyro in there would just further their unjustified success

I'd rather take a bullet-proof flip phone over an iPhone.

I got Rayman 2 on my iPhone, so it can clearly handle the graphics of PS1 games. The controls might be difficult to integrate, seeing as Spyro requires more buttons than Rayman, unless there's an external controller attachment.

If there was a Spyro game that was uploaded to the app store to be played with a built-in emulator (like Sonic 1 and 2 for the iPhone), then it would be awesome; but it's unlikely, considering Insomniac's current status with Spyro games.

Crash Bandicoot got 2 popular Iphone games, do you think Spyro should have a few Spyro games for the iPhone? He had a few games for phones before, but never the Iphone. Personally I would really like a Spyro Iphone game.
