More importantly though, she removed another picture from her page on the same day - a picture of a kingdom which had no evidence of Spyro in it. I'd post the picture for proof, but I don't think I actually have it anymore. =X (The art did indeed look like the environment in the first Skylanders picture released.)

In any case, she *did* end up being in the company that made the next Spyro game, so we can't say she was telling the complete truth. The pictures could have been fanart, but I believe at least some of it may have been concept art - I think Stormy's right on this one.

This might be a possible TLOS time-line game? Just a different plot. Like the game developers once long ago hinted us that they'll continue the TLOS time-line and every character in there. Just yeah..A different story.

That model is just fan-art back in 2010, PyroX. Several hours before Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure was revealed last year, an employee from Activision uploaded fanart of Spyro and models of dragons on her blog where fans thought her stuff was official, and looked like LoS-material. It's just fan-art.

The artist started received negative feedback from fans of her model and Spyro fan art she posted, and she removed them ever since.

The article you linked to will actually be a year old tomorrow, according to the date at the top. This was still speculation about the current Skylanders game, and the "adult Spyro" pictures in the gallery were, I believe, concept art for a game that was supposed to be more "mature" but got scrapped.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I don't have any real source to confirm that that's what happened with those images, but looking at the evidence, it would seem that way to me.
