I haven't played the games, but how was it abandoned? Didn't they finish the story arc?

They did, but they left a lot of things unanswered. if you play the games, you would understand

yes, i am udderly insane also had some serius issiues in my gut at the time i wrote that (was t the doctor not to long ago) but the point is. i am exited about the los series the ending of it was way to.. i dont know.. feels like something is missing, ALOT is missing.

But anyways, (I wonder how many of my posts have this phrase in them) while I still haven't played DotD, I think the series had a pretty definite ending, didn't it? It's like KingLambda said; it's not like it was in the middle of the series or something. There were some things left open to interpretation, but I don't think that means it's not over. I mean, really, where do you go from using magical dragon powers to put the entire world back together as it's exploding? That's a conclusion if I ever saw one.

If you want abandoned, try the Metal Arms sequel or Star Wars Battlefront 3, now those were abandoned

I happen to agree completely; I'm just being a mod and trying to encourage conversation.

TLoS is kind of like Twilight for me. The times I played/read it, I didn't think it was that horrible. I could tell it was full of flaws, but it was entertaining in a mindless kind of way. After reading opinions from both dedicated anti-fans and annoying fantards, the flaws kind of became magnified in my mind to the point of me saying I actually hate the series.

So yeah, I wouldn't really want to see a movie made of Spyro... but I think I'd have a lot of fun lightheartedly making fun of one.

Also because LoS is an uninspired peice of crap that copies every fantasy cliche, but magically makes them worse. It'd be one thing if it was done good. But no. I think they purposely made them worse.

dispite this i still like the first 2...there like my 2012 of games.

I know there stupid clice and stuff, but i can forgive them.

i agree, The trilogy had a great story that make sense on making in a movie, especially in the dawn of the dragons, i will love to see those movies, Also i will like that they make a anime cartoon about the original series(Old Spyro). That will be fun
