Spyro is half-pony like Whirlwind?  I am very OK with this

Sorry, I'm not trying to come of as defensive. Anyways, what stations did the commercial air on? Because if it was on Nikolelodian (I think?) then it seems logical to aim it at little kids.

Was on on CITV ((Kids show in the UK)) so yer that dose make sence

Think about it: if that commercial was all you knew about the game, would you want to find out more?

On a side note, now that we actually HAVE seen an in-game cutscene (I think it's the opening scene of the game) I have to say I like the humor, so I doubt it'll be a problem.

(I'm not 100% supportive of Skylanders, by the way. I like it for the most part, and I will buy and play it, but my two negative things are
1. No Jumping (therefore I'll also be buying the 3DS version)- It's not quite a "Spyro" game if he's land-based, but at least some characters can fly.
2. Price- If I blow all my money on the Wii and 3DS versions, I'll have 6 toys, but I'll have to save up all over again if I want to get the other ones I want (Cynder and all the game-original Dragons).)

Eg Enchanted. saw the copmerchal and I instently hated the film by the sight of that, skip a while later on BBc last year it was on TV I watched it, and it was a pritty good disney film, no Snow white or Pocahontus, but still pritty damm good :3

Actually, I find most commercials annoying, so I wasn't expecting a Spyro commercial to be any better. I doubt the game itself will be like that, but it might be.

The classic Spyros did a good job keeping the humor non-obnoxious, so if Skylanders does something like that I'm sure it'll be fine. I'm waitng to see some in-game cutscenes before casting judgement.
