He isn't one of the 32 main Skylanders. We don't even know if that red dragon is one, or may possibly be a resident in Skylands.

I think Hunter, Bianca, Sheila, Bentley, Sgt. Byrd and Agent 9 all could have easily slotted into the game. But look on the bright side - at least they didn't muck up any more character designs.

Am I the only one who thinks Spyro looks okay in this game? While I think his LoS: ANB/TEN look was the best so far, the Skylanders Spyro is at least decent. He looks less straight-up cute and more ferocious in a cute way, and he actually growls in a dragon-like way now.

As for Cynder, she appears to look exactly like in ANB/TEN but with her DotD coloration, which is fine by me.

I was under the impression that they would would create more and more characters as time went on. I thought that was the point of the toys? If the game is successful than they will probably update the game and add other characters (hopefully ones like Hunter, Elora, or Bianca). Correct me if I'm wrong though.

I was a bit unhappy with this game before, but starting to change my mind after seeing the more dragon like characters. Plus that gryphon. Any game with a gryphon is a game I want to play.

So In a nut shell...

You could say that about anything really.

Exactly, Skylanders is a SPIN-OFF; you can't expect many old characters to return in a spin-off, yet some fans still don't get that.

It just bugs me that a lot of past characters translate really well into toy-form, and the only one they used was Cynder. Ah well, maybe Hunter, Sparx, or what have you will show up in the sequel...
