Toys 'R' Us has posted a item on their description of the 3DS version starter pack that Dark Spyro comes with it exclusively, but only for the 3DS, and then says that it is available for play on all consoles.  But it fails to list any 'extra' figures in the 'what you get' part.

And then I saw this.  Another sales link that describes in its own detail what you get when you buy the entirety of the 3DS version.

However, just like the Toys 'R' Us listing of 'what you get', it fails to mention any dark Spyro figurine, and it doesn't even remark on it being able to play on other consoles, saying it's "a character who is available exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS" like it planted in-game and not on the toy.

My guess would be that this Dark Spyro is not a figurine, but a another visualization of Spyro in the game.  But I'm not sure how this is if it's only on the 3DS but can be playable on other consoles.

Unless the Spyro toy 'remembers' it's 3DS identity.
