Of course, what the writers actually meant to say was, "The Apes were getting boring so we wrote them out of the story and added a better variety of enemies." Same thing, really.

Speaking of which, that's something I'm liking about Skylanders. It's got a good, strong mix of enemies instead of just "small ape, medium ape, dreadwing, large ape."

So are there going to be other villains besides Kaos or what? Like lackeys or something? Maybe some sub-bosses like Crush and Gulp to Ripto?

ah, but how quickly you forget Gaul. he was a very powerful and wise villain, but it wasn't his "destiny". remember that

Kaos is a much more involved character who will try to ruin the world of not just one, but 32 characters that are essential to the storyline.

Kaos kind of reminds me of Ratchet and Clank's first antagonist Chairman Drek, a foolish but powerful villain.

But...he does remind me of Ripto so no problem for me.

It's okay to dislike the game. Your reasons are valid, unlike the ones on Youtube. Heck, I'm probably never ever getting any of the Call of Duty games because I think it is an overhyped generic shooter. And there are tons of FPS games much better than it, anyway. 

Your vocabulary might have a lot to do with it, actually. With you they see complete dislike and no hope of changing your mind. I try to sound a little more neutral to avoid being inflammatory (isn't that ironic), so people think maybe my opinion can be changed because it's not as strong as yours. I dunno.

It might also just be that I'll usually argue back. I used to be terrible at letting things go and would continue to argue even if I was completely wrong because I wanted to always "win" every argument. There are probably threads buried somewhere on this forum where there are 10 pages of just me and one other person arguing. :roll eyes: I've gotten better at that, but I still haven't completely lost the habit yet.

So first off, let me apologize if I was rude. I'm not the best at handling getting frustrated. And I REALLY don't want to scare you away from the Skylanders section of the forums. (And I'm not being sacrastic, either, this time .) I also want to assure you I'm not attempting to "change" or "correct" your opinion of Skylanders. More like I was argueing for the sake of argueing, which obviously is a bad thing that discourages productive conversation.

I admit I wasn't responding in my posts as best as I could. If you'll accept the apology I would like to drop this arguement and get back to talking about Skylanders.
