For some reason, people seem to think that FF is a series that has gone on too long. It's not. If Square started making similar games minus chocobos, and not called Final Fantasy, you'd all be fine with it. And if Final Fantasy died, that's exactly what we'd get.

Neo, you refer to Final Fantasy as a series. It's not. It's more like a mini-genre. Chocobos are the only thing that binds the games together nowadays, aren't they?

In conclusion, Final Fantasy does not need to die, because it can't get old. It's like reincarnation. If reincarnation was real, are you going to walk up to a three-year-old and tell him he's lived for too long? Because that's essentially what is going on here.

Yes you are correct, it has been a very solid and revolutionizing series all at the same time and I certainly give props to Square for the efforts. Be that as it may, the series in general has failed to really grasp my attention or imagination since FF8, and I have since changed my attention to something with a much more interesting and continuing story like KH.

And Nomura has already stated that until he is finished with his FF release at this point and time he can't finish up with Kingdom Hearts 3.

That's all good though, I think 3D will keep me busy for at least another year.

2.Serah is a party member and wields a sword

3.Team Nora are in the game, and are wearing the exact same thing they wore in the last game.

4.I look at the minimap and see no linear hallways. Very big plus
