Apparently, it's a "Trade Only" event and isn't open to the gereal public, so unless a business entrepreneur or fan of the series is there, the best info we'll be getting is second hand.

I think it's open to the public for one of the days.  Not sure though.

Spyro looks cocky GameInformer will be attending E3 with their Spyro toy.

Possibly a bad thing, cause they'll most likely spread negative responses to other gamers who never heard of the Spyro series, saying that it will suck when they obviously never played it.

But if it turns out Skylanders is (hopefully) a really good game, people unfamiliar with the other games wouldn't be bothered by all the drastic changes. But whatvever does happen, we'll have to wait and see.

Anyone here going?  heard registration for all three days is $500.

Don't you have to have connections in the industry to attend?

I expect 75% of a typical runthrough of Activision's Skylanders exhibit to be exactly like the toy fair.  Big time Spyro fans know most of the details of it, but there's a lot of people who have no idea this project is even going on, like the general gaming community, for instance.  Get ready for some more reactions like:

"Woa, cool!  They doing another Spyro game!  I thought he was dead!  Let's see what he looks liiiIIIKEEE!!!  OMG, he's so ugly."
