It did make him seem much cooler though...compared to flapping his tiny little wings anyway.

I like the original Sgt. Byrd better. The kind of unintelligent expression combined with his more intelligent personality.

When it comes to playing as Sgt. Byrd, the AHT version was slightly more fun, but I hated that he needed a jet-pack thingy to fly.

I'd say YotD Sgt. James Byrd.
I think he was better there..And I had an easier time with him in YotD rather than in AHT..

Hero's Tail Sgt.

His levels were way more fun. YotD Sgt. was at times too frustrating to control. Why would a military penguin character be the character with the least amount of maneuverability?

I have to admit that even though I'm allways so misty eyed about the first three Spyro game I thought that the AHT version was a better character and funner to play as.

i think the year of the dragon one is more fun to play as but the hero's tail one would win in a fight
