It's very weird playing levels like Hurricos where you hear Tom Kenny do another voice that you know is him but doesn't sound at all like Spyro's voice. I suppose I liked Carlos Alazraqui's voice as well, but it was a bit too... nasally?

maybe his voice changed a bit quickly, but i don't know. maybe it didn't even mean anything, maybe they just got a different voice actor and we weren't supposed to question it. anyone here watch the Fairly Odd Parents? .. remember what Chester's voice used to sound like before that one movie? no explanation there.

The fact that he also voiced other characters didn't bother me; I didn't even know they were all him until I noticed the credits in the instructions booklet.

As for Elijah Wood, given what he had to work with, his acting was good, but he just doesn't sound "like Spyro" to me. I can only hear Elijah Wood, not his character. I guess he has kind of a distinctive voice and never tried doing other voices like "real" voice actors would. (And before someone complains about this statement, by "real voice actors" I mean people who voice act exclusively and don't do live action movies.)

Wish Carlos Alazraqui would have stayed doing the 2nd and 3rd games, instead of Tom Kenny.. I mean, yeah, like riverhippo mentioned, Tom also voiced a few other characters in the 2nd-3rd games..which was really annoying, imo.

But I guess some time passed and Spyro grew up just a bit?
Hm.. Oh well, don't need to be complaining now since that's all in the past.

Some younger fans think some elements from LoS truly are better than the Insomniac.  And while that is ignorant, it's also ignorant to say that nothing about the three LoS games had a single inch of bandwidth that improved from the original series.
