Hey listen. Gran Turismo 4 came out in 2005 and you can still find it in any store ranging from Walmart to HMV. So I wouldn't be surprised if DoTD popped up somewhere.

Hmm, maybe they just have a lot of unsold copies they're trying to get rid of. I can't imagine they'd still be getting shipments of them as "new games"; it's not like it was all that popular compared to others.

I'm not talking about used game stores like Gamestop; of course they'll have old games. I already said I see copies there all the time. I'm talking about department stores like Walmart like riverhippo mentioned. I haven't seen DotD there for years.

Um.. How is it surprising? Go to Gamestop and boom it'll bound to be there.
Gamestop sells games that are from the 1990s still, I found 1st Spyro game in Gamestop once. Though older the game, harder it'll be but still have a good chance.

Got my copy from GameStop for about 29 bucks or something...but yeah I stay off Amazon when looking for anything that involves electronics since the prices do seem to be driven way up, especially for a new product....perhaps just a result of the terrible economy.

since the game stop being made people are willing to pay more for a sealed copy as it's for more in collecting.
i would'nt pay that. but GBP and USD are differnt.

probably your best option is to wait a little bit. Amazon's prices are sometimes screwed up, but they sometimes level out over time. Or you could contact one of the sellers on Amazon.com, and ask them why the price is so high and/or if they would sell it to you for cheaper. Most of the game sellers on amazon treat a game like DotD like no one will ever buy. They might give it to you for cheaper than you'd expect!

I'm going to try haggling them to see if it works. I'll let you know what happens when I get a response.
