I think the "random troll cretaure with claws" is named Terrafin on the official website.

Actually, i think you're right.  Good catch.  The perspectives they give us and the artwork available for viewing sometimes doesn't match up very well.

Of course, since this game is still a work in progress, almost all of these features are subject to change.

To start with, here is further proof that co-op exists in this game with a shot with Spyro and Trigger Happy traversing the same level.

Here is a screenshot of Spyro.  Not only is he flying (hovering, if you want to get technical) but little magic logos circle around him.  This may indicate a power-up associated with every character.  One of Spyro's upgrades is listed as "Flight".

One shot shows a pirate ship shooting in the direction of an island.  But guess who the master and commander is?  That's right, Spyro.  It appears that this game will have mini-games in it, as this part doesn't seem to have a very large area.

This one is obvious.  Some random troll creature with claws--one of the unknown characters.

Another mystery character, this is our beloved "ice or water dragon" except it has no wings.  I still suspect that it is some kind of reptilian creature, and it's feet look like frog logs.

A robot creature.  It's unsure weather this is a minion, main character, or an ally character.  He looks pretty harmless to me.

One shot of the trailer reveals in the side a character holding a mace-like weapon.  But that is all that is seen.

A character in a walking tank.  At first glance, it looks hostile and suggests an enemy.  However, since we've seen the Toys'R'Us promotion page, this actually looks just like the green troll that throws a stick of dynamite.  If so, I can almost guarantee that his element is Tech.

While it is unknown weather there will be fodder like old school Spyro games, a few screen shots show the same characters in different levels.  And these creatures look harmless with just a hint of possibly being annoying.

Take a close look at this shot, and view it again in the video.  This is by far the most amazing level I have seen so far.  The background nature of it has a turbulent theme and looks absolutely stunning.

When Spyro has killed enemies in the past, something was also left behind.  Gems, spirit particles, experience points, fury points, and health points.  What do we get this time?  Whatever THAT thing is.  This shot shows Spyro using his horn charge to kill an enemy.  After the enemy falls and disappears a collectible item seems to show up.  It's like a coin and gem put together.

One screenshot with Eruptor, reveals a rotating chicken leg.  Apparently a collectible item, it probably increases health for the player.

The faintest of all mystery characters, this one looks like a mole or Jabba the Hut-type creature.

One more thing, one of the sneek peeks released by Activision briefly shows screen shots of when the character appears in the game.  While the game waited, it read, "Please place a champion on the portal."
