You need to realise that most people aren't judging the quality of the game, but rather the fact that its labeled as a Spyro game.
I realise you probably hear people saying "its going to suck" a lot, but its usually just because they can't explain themselves appropriately.

I agree, to judge the quality of a game when you havn't played it and have little to no knowledge of how it plays, is stupid.

If I've ever said that this or TLoS sucked its because of the way they treat a classic game with very little respect, not because of gameplay which I have yet to try myself.

Yes well but at least you would've played the game. No matter how *bleep*y a sonic game will be (as other people would say), I'd buy it. Same goes for Spyro. sure it'd look ugly and gameplay would maybe suck, but you can always try. I always have my own opinions on games. People said sonic and the black knight for example would suck, I agreed with them, after playing it.  people said Sonic 06 will suck, and with that I did not agree. after playing it myself. see this as a new spin-off for spyro. New next generation gaming, Spyro should have some tweaks or two also. maybe they'll go back, but they're just asking for some space to try some new ideas on Spyro. I like this Idea, no matter how much it will differ from old spyro games. New ideas, new tries.

You need to be a level 30 in order to defeat such a creature. Just goes to show that size does not indeed matter.

PS. Even at level 60, I keep a safe distance and use magic whenever I can. Just in case.

Spyro's design does not conform to the target audience. You might as well have this sort of characters in the game:

Snout's a little too long...

I didn't even change the snout.  I just shrunk the eyes, brought them back a little and made them closer, and moved his left horn to conform to the head.

Character designs doesn't really have to make a video game good to play...

but you say this lets see the target audiance...kids....

What do kids like to look at?

they like cute pritty things. thats how kids are so kids are more likly to get a game with...

I mean ok mabey they will, but kids like simple cute things, thats why in films ugly, means evil, and pritty means bad ((I know its not the best of things to do, but its how the media works unfortunatly)) so personally If i was a kid and saw that i'd thing he was the villan not the good guy.
