I could agree with anyone who posts here i think.

My opinion though, does it have to be a full feature game like the originals for it to be play-worthy? For some, yes. For me, I am willing to put time into enjoying Spyro whether it's a game, a plush toy, a comic, a good fan fiction piece, etc.

This forum isn't a game (for some people it is), yet we love to associate with it because it is dedicated for Spyro.

But Spyro is not an environment.

Spyro is a character that remains mostly the same in appearance and style, even if it changes dramatically over the course of a decade. His admiration comes from being a cool dragon that stands boldly as one of the most popular dragons in pop culture.

a Spyro game is a game that focuses mainly on Spyro, has at least a few (at most one) other character that was in other games, and is pretty much like the originals.

TLOS is as far as it can get from the old Spyro games and still be called Spyro to me. anything beyond that. even ONE more slight difference. one more character gone, or one more new character, or one more pixel, and it would have been too far. but TLOS was good enough.

Okay so this is a topic for Spyroforum, not for darkSpyro, keep all information or topics for that website AT that website if you please. That means no links promoting similar topics. Thank you very much.

Anyways a Spyro game for me would be something that now best combines the plateforming of the original game with the story of the more recent LoS series, but now that they've decided to go the complete opposite direction the series doesn't quite have my attention for now.
