I don't really care about 3D and I'll never get one of these new DS systems anyways, so I'll just have to deal with it at an occasional movie.

I just bought a DSi because my original DS finally died. One of the hinges broke last year, I taped it back together, and now the other one broke. XD
I miss the backwards compatibility with GBA, but the DSi is better in almost every other way.

I'm highly against anything with 3D. Because back when you had to wear red and blue glasses for 3D movies, it screwed up my eyesight. I hate how fast technology is advancing. It's just never good enough! We just need to slow down! >:(

But anyways, what's left of my DS lite works fine and I'm going to stick to it until it breaks.. Then buy a new one..
I like my old GBA games. ;_;

I read "3DS" and instantly thought of 3DS Max.
I don't like Nintendo. But I do like 3DS Max.

Interesting how there's a decrease DS users for young adults, but increases for middle-aged adults. Also interesting how females keep up the interest in the DS well into the 70s, whereas gramps stop around the late 60s.

Also, I was a bit surprised but pleased in the trend that the ratio of male to female players is evening up (at least for the DS/DSi); even so, there's still the stereotype that video games are for males, probably because males tend to have a more competitive nature.

Same reason why parents give a 5 year old a cell phone. Times are crazy they are. You'd be surprised how low the average age has gotten for kids getting their first cell phone. In America anyways...

The user population for the DS spikes at around 10 or 11 years of age, with little discrimination for kids who are younger. The graph only shows as low as 6 years old, but it's almost understood that 4 and 5 year olds are getting their hands on them as well.

This graph was put together by Nintendo in April of 2009.

Hehe, I bet if all we ever saw was 8-bit then suddenly it went to 3D, it would seem weird.

3D Games??? We are getting ever closer to those Virtual reality games we saw in those shows of the future >.<

Seems kind of pointless. But everytime something new comes out or is implemented, there is some health concern or whatnot.

Either way, I won't be playing many 3D games at all (If Any)... And If the parents let the children play the games that supposedly 'hurt' their eyes, then they better not think of suing or anything.

What's the point of having a 3D display hand-held console? I can understand people wanting to make TV screens have 3D images but hand-held consoles with 3D sounds stupid in my opinion.:/
