I didn't buy any Spyro games since EtD until just last year.  EtD did put a dent in Spyro game sales.  It just may take a while to win thosr hearts back, if they win they back at all.

Yes I was sure that her clawing her way out of the lava was leading into her second defeat after the secret bonus round.  After you beat her the second time, the twin dragons are born and no evidence of the Sorceress is found.

To cement this rumor further, why would any future Spyro developer play off of a cliff hanger planted by Insomniac that long ago????  Don't think so...

The member also spelled Sorceress wrong on the title. And it's possibly fake.

Maybe, but doesn't anyone think that would be kinda random to suddenly have her return out of all the villains? I mean, you could even have the "Sorcerer" from Shadow Legacy come back, and it would make a little more sense then bringing back a single villain from a game made in 2000. Or better yet, just make a new villain. Are they really that dry of ideas?
