The whole reboot was unnecessary!
Spyro wasn't doing so bad that only a reboot could save him!
AHT wasn't that great,but thats why the developers should go  and see what they've done wrong in the game,and fix those stuff in the next game!

Becouse pretty much the only thing that makes them a ''Spyro game'' is the fact the main protagonist is a purple dragon named Spyro and his buddy Sparx the dragonfly!
Theres none of those stuff that were iconic to a ''Spyro game''
like for example
You got rings,loopdeloops,speedy platforming,etc etc in Sonic games
But if you take all those out ,its not a ''Sonic game'' anymore
even if the characters are of the same names and species
There are no homeworlds,portal levels,speedways,gems(no,those crystals from TLoS do not count,cus they are used for health,mana and someupgrade/special attack stuff only,and are not collectables),sparx healthbar,sheep(or other lil' bystanders ),mini-games and the list goes on...

thats not a Spyro specific thing
Also the charge in TeN,ANB is pretty bad and hard to control,so you rarely use it...
And its removed in DoTD...

They just made a linear,repetative,beat-em-up  that rips off alot of stuff
and just slapped Spyro's logo onto it so it can get more buyers and publicity!
Heck,the reviewers mostly praise the TLoS games only by its visuals,soundtrack and presentation and not its gameplay(the thing that should be the most important in a video game like Spyro)
This is all in my opinion tho.

The trilogy may be over, but that doesn't mean the story is over. Look at star wars, it had 2 trilogies and some other tv shows, etc

I agree with those who are against love pairings in-game. Spyro has evolved into something that it isn't, and it's almost hard to believe that the little, arrogant purple dragon who used to charge around finding eggs has turned into this deep, strong and modest Gary Stu who is saving the world because it is his destiny.
