Re occuring characters has worked well in the past, but I wouldn't be able to manage a redesign of Cynder, just look at what they did to Spyro!

DotD made Cynder more of a goody-two shoes who occasionally angsted, whereas before she just constantly angsted. The weird part was there that no in-game explanation for the change.

And really I think any of the old characters could work in Skylanders, but I'd rather see Sparx and Hunter over Cynder.

Cynder could actually work really well as an antihero, but I haven't quite seen that from her yet. Maybe she was more of one in DotD, but it doesn't sound like it from what I've heard.

Expect it's to the point of what you consider a Anti-hero, I tried to do Anti-hero's and most Writers have stated that i have evolved it into a Antagonist even more then the actual Antagonist.

I'd say keep Cynder and possibly bring back some of the characters from the original series, although from my experince with EtD don't bring back the villains.

Why? Because it's been proven that people prefer the anti-hero over a hero or villain in the majority of games and i completely agree with that research so why abandon an established anti-hero

I agree with you too, Dragon Protector x. They definably did screw up on Cynder's attitude in the new game. I mean it appears as if everything suddenly changed. Meh, what else can we get from having changed from one company to another so suddenly.

I like Cynder. She's a nice addition to the Spyro series and I would welcome her in the next game with open arms.
But she shouldn't have a "snobby cheerleader accent". As dragon protector x said, she had a tough life and she was a slave to Malefor.

I wouldn't mind having her back so long as her voice actor is decent, and her character design doesn't make her look anorexic. As for the Voice actor problem... She had a depressing life and doesnt need a snobby complainy cheerleader voice. Let alone Act like one. I mean over her horrbile years as a slave to Malefor she should be strong and and more confident in what she is going to do.
