No joke, I remember.

I was traveling to Florida from Michigan by car with my family.  We were on vacation.  And I remember in Georgia, we stopped at a Pizza Hut and I begged my dad to purchase the combo that gave you a demo disc, because it was the first time I had seen Spyro in promotions other than the first Spyro the Dragon.  Unfortunately, I had no playstation with me on vacation and had to stare at the disc sleeve for a long time.  I got to know that picture very well, and noticed it was different when I played the full version of the game.

I've played it dozens of times, but I think I scratched the disc a long time ago, and I'm not sure I even kept it.  Was a good demo disc, though.  Had fun games on it.

Now, I will say...

This demo DOES NOT allow you to play Autumn Plains.

I played that specific version of Spyro 2's demo.  It's just like the others.  I know for certain it wouldn't let you play Autumn Plains.  That picture is not demo material, it's just a screen shot from another level the developers put on there.

There were two demo discs.

The first one had this opening video:

The second one had Spyro 2 on it.  But for the life of me, I can't find a video for it.  I found a video that plays all of the other games on the same disc, just not Spyro 2.

I never understood where Spyro was gliding from in that picture.  I guess the island, but I don't think it was that high.

I smell Demo easter eggs.

You are right CTR that my telled code is easter egg but it can't open before you enter that code big mystery to get N Oxide in CTR game is big question i don't even have sure how to unlock that and it open haven't code.

After searching one google and youtube, I haven't been able to find any demo versions of autumn plains.  As far as I can tell, it never existed.

apparently there's water going around the back fence that you can walk along to get to the one orb where you bash through the wall? I've been trying to find photos or video of what it looked like because I've always been extra curious about it.

If anyone has that demo is it possible that they can post up a video of it? Most spyro 2 demos that I see are of Skelos Badlands and not Autumn Plains.
