1. Ripto wants to rule the world, Malefor wants to destroy it.
2. Ripto can shoot fireballs, Malefor can shoot meteors.
3. Ripto's most powerful henchman is a small dinosaur, Malefor's most powerful henchman belongs in Shadow of the Colossus.
4. Ripto has one stubby horn, Malefor can impale 8 people on his.

And finally? Here is a comparison between Ripto and Malefor:

Ripto could last about 2.5 seconds if he is lucky, not to mention Ripto has been constantly beaten by dragons before he even met Spyro...

I'm more of a fan of the original series, so I like Ripto more. However, Malefor is kinda awesome, and he seems more powerful. So yeah, I would go with Ripto.

Totally Malefor. He almost blew up the world ...which is more than ripto ever did. not to mention his army of apes and those gremlin things + the destroyer is a way better army than Riptos goons. I'm just say'in
